What’s New in the Onshape App Store (3/16/17)

As you may know, the Onshape App Store makes finding new engineering apps – such as CAM, simulation, rendering, manufacturing and data management – as easy as browsing iTunes or Google Play. Many of our development partners offer Integrated Cloud Apps which work directly within Onshape Documents.

How to Create Machining Operations and NC File Output For Your Onshape Models

Instead of having to install CAM software on your computer, the Onshape App Store offers Integrated Cloud Apps that let you quickly and seamlessly create machining operations for your CAD models. I’d like to introduce you to OnCreate3D, a free and convenient integrated app for 3D milling, offering a variety of toolpaths such as Contour, Pocket, Parallel, Radial and more.

How to Assess Your Onshape Models For Structural Weakness

Designers and engineers need to know whether their designs will perform up to spec, but too often analysis and simulation tools are time-consuming to learn and interact with. They typically require expertise in mesh preprocessing and are expensive desktop-only software packages. We think that’s a problem. We built Intact so that you can simulate and analyze your designs directly in Onshape. No manual meshing, preprocessing, or installation required.
